included visiting the Gori Fortress and Stalin Museum .
Frankly , we all felt relatively flat and depressed after the Stalin museum , hideous events that occurred back then which cannot be erased from Georgia ’ s history .
Getting back on the road distracted my mind from the museum , we headed out towards Samtsevrisi where I learned about Saint Nino , a female saint who preached Christianity in the Kingdom of Iberia , now known as Georgia . The roads were great , smooth , wide and flowing all the way to Katskhi where on top of the natural rock tower sits a house … quite remarkable .
Oni is a small village steeped with history on the bank of the Rioni River way up in the mountains . Here we spent the night in the most amazing homestay where too much Cha Cha flowed , and the singing started !
