within . The people were welcoming and the streets active but something deep within suggested we should move on the following morning .
The last major centre behind us the ' nine ' now slid into rhythm with the Sarda winding it ’ s way against the flow , edging along cliffs , following the valley . Small towns and even smaller communities occasionally came into view , the scenery some of the most stunning anywhere on the planet . Across the valley an almost mirror image as Nepal displayed its own border road , disputedly built sometime much further in the past and in places nothing more than a walking trail .
