It was a sincere motorbike , designed and desired by Royal Enfield , created to be a valid adventure companion with its simplicity .
After leaving Delhi , the direction of travel was towards Bikaner , one of the most important stages that punctuated the thousand-year-old caravan routes that crossed the Thar desert now crossed by the asphalt ribbon of national roads . Indian roads , especially the National Highways , are generally tolled but not for motorbikes which also benefit from a reserved access lane . With their four lanes they are intended for major connections , just like the NH11 we were now travelling on . They are generally in good condition but it is not safe to forget that they are not the motorways we are used to . Eighty kilometres per hour is the maximum speed and a rich series of bumps of all sizes are ready to remind you of this . The National Highways pass through villages but
