manufacturers however , it ’ s the width of the straps that lend Wraptie to motorcycle applications , the straps wide enough to hold the most cumbersome of loads yet narrow enough to fit between most bikes racks , bars , or rails .
“ We didn ’ t set out with the goal of designing a motorcycle related product ,” Paul continues . “ It just sort of happened that way . A first it was a product that I needed , then came applications from other pushbike riders , then tradies started to get in on it . It just sort of grew from there .”
Yet , it didn ’ t ‘ just grow ’ from there . With a design in hand , funds were needed to get the product manufactured and taken to market , anyone with a start up will know all too well what that experience is like .
“ Wraptie ’ s co-founder , Mark ( Blackburn ) suggested we crowdfund the project ,” a concept known to Paul , yet not considered . “ It was amazing . We raised 300 % of our initial target . The reception was exceptional and gave us confidence that we had something that people wanted .”
Wraptie became a popular choice for many needing a tie or strapping solution and in using such a product it becomes apparent that there are environmental gains too . Wraptie have an ambitious goal to ensure that everyone of their products has as minor impact on the environment as possible and in some ways become a solution to the problem .
