the month of religious reflection and self-improvement neared , and everything felt so beautiful . We were in paradise yet trapped like a bird in a cage .
It seemed strange to be trapped in a paradise as we awaited the slightest chance to return home , and when the chance appeared , we left our friends , paradise , and our bike in Oman . We will return one day , to continue our ride to Australia , and before we do , we will lament the beauty that is the Middle East .
And as for Oman , our nine weeks
