Arrows Of Fire Random Media 2016 77 Minutes
Four mates ( a father , son , and two friends ), head off into the Australian outback looking for an adventurous route to a bike rally in Manwaaring , they find adventure in a vastly different form .
Arrows Of Fire sees three postie bikes and a KTM on outback tracks and while out there disaster strikes when Josh Evans is thrown from his bike , seriously breaking a leg and requires emergency evacuation .
Arrows Of Fire is an interesting concept although seems to be a film in three quite different parts , feeling a little disjointed yet still enjoyable .
The film has a feeling that it ’ s more about the individuals than the overall experience , understandable under the conditions that this self-funded film was created and produced , it leaves a feeling of being a little self-important .
Arrows Of Fire is very well produced , as good as anything with much greater budgets , the scenery and action well shot , it leaves you wanting to explore that unique part of Australia . And by all accounts everyone recovered and are back adventuring again .
Somewhere Else Tomorrow Journeyman Pictures 2014 107 Minutes
Somewhere Else Tomorrow is created on a shoestring much as the protagonists chose to complete their ride around the world .
Daniel and Lars set out to explore the world with little money , the idea is to fund their journey while on the road . It soon becomes apparent that this isn ’ t for Lars , yet Daniel is determined to carry on and discover the world .
While discovering the world Daniel realises he wasn ’ t searching for something physical but rather something within , he discovers himself .
Throughout Somewhere Else
Tomorrow we find an underlining story , that of human spirit ; Daniel riding his bike , exploring and more so that of the local people and their existence . This humanity compels Daniel to look more inward whilst discovering that around him is not as bad as we are led to believe by mainstream western media . The people , situations all display a kindness that can only be offered by complete strangers . Daniel finds love .
And yes , Daniel really does find love ; a love of those around him , a love within and the love of a soul mate .
Somewhere Else Tomorrow is well produced , has great narration , and is interspersed with anecdotes from some considered ‘ great ’ world travellers , although a few years old Somewhere Else Tomorrow is well worth watching .
