The geopolitical stoush continues while world leaders’
posture, point fingers and lay blame. The worldwide
response was swift, regions and countries taking their
own action to ensure the safety of citizens, some better
than others. It came at the cost of many ‘non-essential’
businesses and as time passes many more seem to be on
the point of slipping away.
Travel and tourism was the industry first affected as
airlines were forced to ground aircraft, cruise ships sent
from one port to another as no-one wanted to accept the
responsibility of dealing with potential illness, borders
