going to Africa, and would not return
to the USA any time soon with the
motorcycle complying with carnet re-
quirements. I decided that whatever
direction I would travel, it would be
the right way! I was never feeling left-
out that I was missing something as I
always travel with the attitude that “I
will be here again!” Next time, I will
explore the great continent of Africa
and my push south in this large, com-
plex, and varied cultural, political,
and religious landscape. CF

Another alterative was to take a

and safest, country that would take
on my air freight and progress from

that was beginning to become trou-
blesome as I was on a United States

ridden from the tip of South Ameri-
ca to the tip of North America to the
Arctic Sea in Alaska; and circumnav-
igated the globe from east to west by
motorcycle, stopping only for the At-
lantic and Pacific Oceans.
