No-one wants to spend their time filling out forms, making photo-copies, and paying money for vi- sas and road taxes, but it is all part of the process. Having extra copies of the title, registration, and your passport can make the process go easier. To lighten the mood, ask them about parts of their country you will visit (or mention places of interest of a country you are leaving to the exiting authorities) and tell them how excited you are to be a part of their country and learn more about it. Knowing how to say hello and thank you in their lan- guage is a must! The most important thing is to smile and know that you TRAVERSE will be on your way in a few minutes and leaving the bu- reaucracy behind. NUMBER 7 Another Day In Paradise. Part of the daily routine is finding a place to camp or sleep for the night. So many questions go into making this decision it bog- gles the mind. If you have already decided on your des- tination and arrived, now is the time to sort through the variables that may make your stay comfortable. What is the cost and does it make sense in the country? Do they have wifi available and is it working?
