CHI HOA RESTAURANT - VIETNAMESE
CULINARY QUINTESSENCE
Chi Hoa is a special place for Vietnamese people
whenever they miss their family meals and for
visitors to enjoy Vietnamese meals.
Designed in the space of a cozy house on the
international cuisine street of Saigon, Chi Hoa
restaurant is brightened by many large windows.
The place is adorned with familiar Vietnamese
ware, like green enamel cup and wooden
chopsticks. Apart from international guests, diners
at the restaurant include women with their family.
These women are the head cook of their family. If
you are going to trust anyone, trust them when it
comes to knowing what an authentic family meal
tastes like in Vietnam.
Don’t forget to try some signature dishes, namely
the bake d tuna in banana leaf, crispy fried softshelled crab, beef roll with wild vegetables and spicy
fried brown rice. Sit near a windy window, drink a
glass of beer while enjoying crispy fried squid with
tamarin fish sauce.
It would be pity not to mention Chi Hoa’s desserts:
tofu with coconut extract, che ba ba (sweet soup),
lotus seed covered with Logan soup, flan cakes and
the main attraction, custard, with the pleasant flavor
of pineapple leaves.
Unlike other restaurant following European - Asian
fusion style, Chi Hoa Restaurant keeps its rustic
design and serves only traditional Vietnamese
dishes. Every dish is served on a big plate so that
family members can enjoy it together, just like at
home. Everything here bears the traditional values
of Vietnamese family meals.
