TRAVELLIVE: Could you please share with us what you think we can do to help stop
the trading of rhino horns in Asia?
-- Tight sanctions and penalties as well as strict and clear law enforcement are
necessary to stop these illegal activities. We all know that the authorities have
recently discovered several cases of trafficking but many of them are “ignored”
without any strict investigation. We can only cut the trade lines by arresting the
“big bosses”.
At the same time, campaigns to reduce consumption also need to be strengthened.
Furthermore, not only Vietnam and other Asian countries, but also African
countries need better enforcement to stop rhino poaching.

TRAVELLIVE: What are ENV’s upcoming events for saving rhinos?
In December 13th 2015, ENV cooperated with Red River Runners to hold the “Run
for rhinos” program with the participation of over 500 people. ENV will continue
to host public exhibitions and produce short films to raise awareness, reduce
demand, and spread the message of saving rhinos. We also encourage everyone to
inform us about rhino poaching via hotline at 1800 1522.
ENV is calling for the support of businesses in our campaign to reduce rhino
horn consumption and communicate actively to save endangered animals. ENV
is cooperating with luxury car brands such as Mercedes - Benz, BMW, as well as
companies like MG, Nshape Fitness center, Lotte, Vincom Shopping Centers to set
up information boards and hold events for the community.
