budget has increased over 714%, that's so much money! According to CAP, the investment the United States has made in both U.S. customs and border protection, & U.S. immigration and customs enforcement, has increased from 9.5 billion dollars, to more than 17.1 billion
dollars. That's an 80%
budget increase! All of
that money was only
spent because the
United States failed
to come up with an
effective system taking
the "enforcement only"
approach. All of that
money, all of that money, could have gone towards the immigration reform and then the United States would not only solve one of its main issues, but the immigration reform would as well greatly impact the economy positively. One of the main ones being and increase in personal income from 4.5 billion to 5.4 billion in the first three years. Though we cant just go big so fast, so we have to start small. How? By supporting the acitivists who support the immigration reform.
We in Arizona are in the process of trying to convince congress to spit a "yes" towards the immigration reform. You as well can help. Grab a Sharpie and a poster and go join an activist group and help convince congress that not only immigrants are in need of the Immigration Reform, but as well as the United States. Alternatives?
