Sweet Tea Margaritas
We associate sweet tea with the South the same way we associate Margaritas with
Cinco de Mayo, so if we’re here in this loveable region, why not infuse the two and
create our very own Southerner-Friendly Sweet Tea Margarita.
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Sour Mix
2 Cups traditional Sweet Tea
½ Cup Tequila
¼ Cup Triple Sec (optional)
1 Lemon, wedged
1 Lime, sliced into thin circles (for garnish)
Salt or Sugar (to rim glasses)
Combine Sour Mix, Sweet Tea, Tequila, and
Triple Sec together in a pitcher. Stir well.
Chill for 2 hours. Pour a small amount of
sugar or salt (personal preference) into a
bowl. To Serve, take one lemon wedge
and run it all the way around the rim of the
glass, then immediately dunk the glass into
the bowl of sugar or salt. Fill the glass with
ice and pour in the Sweet Tea Margarita
mixture. Garnish with a lime circle.
