Transformation Through Chaos Transformation Through Chaos_Sneak Peak | Page 3
INTRODUCTION
The main purpose of writing this book is to help those individuals
who live in chaos and have no understanding of how to transform
during that time. It is important to realize that chaos is inevitable
and unavoidable, and no matter how hard you try to escape, it will
find you. Yet, in spite of chaos, an individual can excel and prevail.
Transformation Through Chaos begins with self-discovery and
understanding and accepting your genuine self regardless of your
personal challenges. I am challenging you to awaken to the person
that you really are. You have had several life experiences, both good
and bad. Before I discuss the many faces we all wear, let me describe
who I am.
My life began in Fitzgerald, Georgia on September 9, 1964. I
was the second child born to Alberta and Ira Wenze. My parent’s
first daughter passed away before I was born. After my birth, my
parents had four other children, which included three boys and
another girl. My younger sister was the product of a stillborn birth.
I am the only daughter of my parents who survived.
I was the oldest and only girl of four living children that my
parents had. My brothers and I grew up in a middle class home
environment. My father was a medical doctor and my mother was
a housewife. I was fortunate to grow up at a time period in which I
resided in a two-parent household. In addition, both of my parents
were college educated.
My father was raised in a two-parent household until his father
passed away. His father was employed by a railroad company and
his mother was an entrepreneur. My grandmother promoted edu-
cation among her children. All of my father’s siblings attended col-
lege with the exception of one brother who elected to serve in the
military.
