I initially planned on having someone come and talk to our school, about light rail safety, but the organization never called me back, so i decided to put on a workshop for students who ride the lightrail. About 18-25 people showed up as i gave helpful tips on how to stay safe, some of which included
The safe place on all modes of public transportation in Arizona. A safe place is meant for children under the age of 18 who feel that they are in danger, whether on public transportation or at home.
Travel in groups of friends whenever you can
Try not to travel when it’s dark, or becoming dark outside
At my workshop, i asked all of the people who ride the light rail, to find someone and, tell them about a bad experience,a lot of the people didn't know half of the stuff they were told had happened and were every shocked.
