The shoes are low black with round toe while the socks are either
cotton or white wool. The dress can sometimes be completed
with a black velvet "coppula" or a black corduroy jacket, for
festive occasions.
From the knee down the legs were covered with black cloth socks
in winter, white cotton in summer.
