BEST Robotics
BEST (Boosting Engineering, Science, and Technology) originally originated in 1993 is an annu-
al middle and high school robotics competition held in the United States, designed to engage and
promote students about engineering, science, and technology as well motivates them to pursue careers
in these fields. The competition is a six-week occurs at organized hub sites throughout the United States.
BEST held its first New Hub Workshop at Texas Instruments in Dallas in 2001. The goal is to promote
participation of women and rural and inner-city schools’ children and thus maximizing the pipeline of future
