The Gray Town
How long has it been? A few months? Weeks? Years? I can’t
remember, just that the monster roams free, and leaving me
in this monochrome hell. It’s foggy, black mass with the
glowing eyes hiding within the poor people of the city... why
did it pick me? Why choose me?
The monster is on the prowl again. I can see it slithering
around the shadows. It's looking for something, following a
girl by the looks of it. I think I know her. Oh...oh no...not her.
Oh I knew her. I knew her very well, but...what was her
name? It's amazing that she still wears the necklace I gave
her, but her name, and that monster...what does it want with
her? She's suffered so much because of that thing. I can
only watch it wrap it's tendrils around her neck. I feel so
helpless, but if it sees me, I'll be gone forever. Just like what
happened to the one before. I look away so I wouldn't see it
kill the defenseless girl, but there was no blood. There was
no killing. It just rushed away with my gift to her in it's foggy
paws.
