HEART TRUST NTA DELIVERS CURRICULUM TRAINING T O T P D C O S T A F F T PDCo’s Product Quality and Tourism Training staff members, along with participants from other departments continue to benefit from the HEART Trust/ NTA Curriculum Development training. The training which is conducted every Wednesday ,commenced on January 10th and will see its completion on Wednesday February 28, 2018. With the changes that occur in society, curriculum development, implementation and review has be- come a dynamic process. Whenever there are changes or developments happening around the world and/or in organizations, training curricula should be updated to reflect these changes. It is therefore critical that the staff members who are engaged in training have the requisite knowledge and skills required to not only develop but also implement and review curricula. The programme broadly examines curriculum development as a concept, explores the stages in the development process as well as models of curriculum development and curriculum designs. It also looks at the implementation and review/evaluation of curricula. The goal of the programme is to improve the knowledge and skills required to develop, implement and evaluate curricula. On successful completion, the participants will be issued with a certificate in Curriculum Development from HEART Staff participants take notes during the February 7th session Trust/NTA.
