2026-2027 Vice Mayor The Town Council selected Phyllis Choy as the Vice Mayor for 2026-2027.

Indian Creek Park Bathrooms Town Council approved a work order in the amount of $ 434,921 with Kirchman Construction Co. for a restroom building at Indian Creek Park.

Beacon Park Town Council approved on first reading a Future Land Use amendment and Zoning Map amendment for 23.4 acres of land located on the west side of Island Way, north of Indiantown Road. A request for the reconsideration of a Future Land Use amendment and Zoning Map amendment on the east side of Island Way was postponed by the applicant, and the applicant will return with a Planned Unit Development request.

New Haven North Street Re-Surfacing Town Council approved a Work Order with LP Asphalt, LLC in the amount of $ 538,689 for roadway improvements, roadway re-surfacing, and curb replacements in the New Haven North neighborhood.

Playground Equipment Purchase and Installation Town Council approved an agreement with Rep Services, Inc. for the purchase and installation of playground equipment at Heights of Jupiter Park, Abacoa Community Park, and Jupiter Community Center in the amount of $ 1,871,982.

Property Purchase Agreement Town Council approved an Option Purchase Agreement, in the amount of $ 10,660,000, for a facility located on 1.92 acres at 3126 Jupiter Park Drive. The facility will primarily support Building Department operations, including building inspectors, plans examiners, code compliance officers, fire inspectors, and plan reviewers associated with construction activity. All public-facing Building Department services will continue to be provided at the Town Hall complex.

Town-owned Property Lease Agreement Town Council approved the Third Amendment to the Lease Agreement for Town-owned property located at 106 Military Trail.

Daily Park Equipment Purchase and Installation Town Council approved an Agreement with Creative Contracting Group for the Purchase and Installation of Playground Equipment at Daily Park in the amount of $ 760,095.

Fire Protective Services Special Assessment Town Council approved a final fee schedule that would establish a Non-Ad Valorem Special Assessment( per-property fee) to help fund Jupiter Fire Rescue services, facilities and programs. This vote is a legally required step in the process of considering a Special Assessment as one of the funding options for a portion of the Jupiter Fire Rescue Department’ s budget.

Town Code Amendments Town Council approved an amendment to Chapter 10 of the Town Code, Fire Prevention and Protection, to adopt the Florida Fire Prevention Code and Uniform Fire Safety Standards. Council also approved an amendment to Chapter 11 of the Town Code to establish procedures for the issuance of trespass warnings on public property, and Chapter 8 of the Town Code, which would amend to expand the jurisdiction of the Special Magistrate to include trespass appeals.

CDBG Action Plan Town Council approved the Town of Jupiter 2026-2027 Community Development Block Grant( CDBG) Action Plan in the amount of $ 327,086.

Bayside Office Building Town Council approved a site plan application for a four-story office building and shared access drive on approximately 0.53 acres located at 1001 N. Alternate A1A.

Nanofiltration Agreement Town Council approved an interlocal agreement with the Loxahatchee River District for nanofiltration by-product water.

Public Budget Workshops and Hearings: Fiscal Year 2027

The Town of Jupiter’ s proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2027, which begins October 1, 2026, will be heard in two public budget hearings tentatively set for Tuesday, September 8 and Tuesday, September 22. Both hearings will be held at 7:00 pm at the Jupiter Town Hall Council Chambers( 210 Military Trail). Public budget workshops are held in advance of the public hearings. This year, the first workshop was held on Thursday, June 18 and the second is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, August 13. Jupiter Fire Rescue: Swearing-In Ceremony for Final Inaugural Members

On Monday, June 1, the founding 91 members of Jupiter Fire Rescue took their ceremonial oath of office at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, officially becoming the inaugural firefighters of the Town’ s first municipal fire rescue department.

The ceremony began with a powerful introduction of the firefighters to family, friends, local and state officials and Town staff. Remarks from Florida Chief Financial Officer and State Fire Marshal Blaise Ingoglia, former Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater, Mayor Jim Kuretski, Town Manager Frank Kitzerow and Fire Chief Darrel Donatto helped commemorate this historic moment.

More than 600 people attended the ceremony to celebrate this milestone. The 91 firefighters bring a wide range of experience and backgrounds to the department, including more than 20 with local ties to Jupiter and others who relocated to begin a new chapter with Jupiter Fire Rescue. Collectively, they represent more than 600 years of fire service experience.

The celebration continued with ribbon-cutting and traditional fire service ceremonies at Stations 10 and 12. Together, these milestones represent years of planning, determination and collaboration, bringing Jupiter one step closer to the launch of Jupiter Fire Rescue on October 1, 2026.

Unveiling of Fire Station 10 and Fire Station 12

On Wednesday, June 3, and Thursday, June 4, Jupiter Fire Rescue’ s new Station 10 and Station 12 were officially unveiled to the community through traditional fire service ceremonies.

Each celebration began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Town Council, Town Manager Frank Kitzerow, Fire Chief Darrel Donatto and the Town’ s construction partners, followed by the uncoupling and Push-In traditions. Firefighters, Town staff and community members participated in these longstanding fire service customs, symbolizing the completion of both stations.

Attendees also had the opportunity to tour the new facilities and meet the firefighters who will soon serve their community.

Fire Stations 10 and 12 represent Jupiter’ s commitment to public safety. These stations will strengthen emergency response and fire protection services while serving as a trusted presence in the community, ensuring

help is always nearby and within reach.
