Jupiter Public Safety
The Town of Jupiter places a high value on safety and is committed to ensuring its Public Safety departments work together to set the standard for excellence. The Jupiter Fire Rescue Department( JFRD) and Jupiter Police Department( JPD) have already collaborated closely on community outreach initiatives, and with JFRD providing service as of October 1, 2026, now provide a united effort to protect and serve the community. Together, these departments will ensure that Jupiter continues to lead in public safety, with a shared commitment to the well-being of all residents. Stay up to date with JFRD news and developments by visiting jupiter. fl. us / FireRescue or by following JFRD on Facebook @ JupiterFireRescue, and learn about upcoming police events and updates by visiting jupiter. fl. us / Police or following JPD on Facebook @ JupiterPolice.
A New Chapter in Public Safety has Begun in Jupiter.
At midnight on October 1, the Jupiter Fire Rescue Department officially went into service, marking the culmination of more than three years of planning, preparation, construction, hiring and training. Today, JFRD firefighters and paramedics are responding to calls throughout Jupiter, providing fire suppression, emergency medical services and other critical emergency response services to the community.
JFRD operates from three stations strategically located throughout Jupiter- on US 1 near Burt Reynolds Park, on Indiantown Road near Cinquez Park, and in the Abacoa area. Each station is staffed with highly trained personnel supported by a new fleet of fire engines, rescue vehicles and the Town’ s first ladder truck. Together, these resources allow JFRD to provide locally focused fire rescue services designed specifically around the needs of Jupiter and its residents.
The transition to JFRD represents more than a change in who responds when someone calls 911. It brings fire rescue services directly under the Town of Jupiter, joining the Jupiter Police Department as part of the Town’ s commitment to providing high-quality public safety services to the community.
For the men and women of JFRD, October 1 was the day years of preparation became a promise put into action. Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, JFRD is now ready to respond when the community needs them.
