Some years ago, I read a quote that called my attention: “If you want to be successful, look where the world is going, and go there”. These wise words stayed in my mind were the main reason why I decided to study this career and I am proud of choosing Unicolombo as the trainer of my life’s choise. They gave me the opportunity to open my mind to this beautiful world of service and hospitality through the knowledge that they have given me.
Besides that, the teaching of the English language that Unicolombo provides makes you a competitive professional in job market. French classes also open the doors to learn about new cultures and love this career. Hotel and Administration Program offers an interesting opportunity to become the professional that Cartagena de Indias' tourism industry needs.
Marbelys works as a recepcionist in a hostel located in El Arsenal street in Getsemaní.
We can aspire to work in hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, airlines and many others tourism enterprises. In my case, for example, I had the opportunity to work in a hostel, where I could implemente all the knowledge that I have learnt in the last semesters. In addition, my English fluency has improved beause of the daily practice with international tourists.
