Wednesday of Responsible Tourism
According to the formation plan of the Stop ESCNNA resarch group of the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management, professor Jesús Vergara, leader of this research team, organized an encounter in the frame of the event called Wednesday of Tourism.
The training was named: Everybody against the ESCNNA, Commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents CSEC. The special guess was Dr. Humberto Padilla, Coordinator of the Foundation Renacer, in Cartagena de Indias.
The professors Jesús Vergara and Heiver Marrugo represented La Fundación Universitaria Colombo Internacional - Unicolombo, disserting the efforts of this institution to be part of the national project againts ESCNNA - Commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) .
The professor Marrugo talked about the characteristics of the citizen who must promote the law enforcement and the importance of the construction of a sustainable and responsible society.
Finally, the coordinator of the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Dra. Yasmira Mercado De Horta, emphasized about the responsible of the students in their working day against the
commercial sexual exploitation of children. She concluded that the first step to get tourist
environments free of ESCNNA / CSEC is the formation about how to prevent this problem.
