Cotelco organized marching against The Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Teenagers, CSEC

Last march 15th, a group of students lead by Professor Jesús Vergara, participated in the marching orginized by Cotelco against the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Teenagers, CSEC. The marching took the Historic Center of the city and Bocagrande neighborhood.

Cotelco and the guilds of travel and tourism of Cartagena de Indas, encountered in the Old City in order to show their indignation against the sexual exploitation of children. The marching started at 11:00 p.m. and the participants were not only the representatives of the guilds, but also students from different universities, including Unicolombo. Some of the university students who assisted to this marching were the students of the research group Stop CSEC in Tourism Industry, a research group of the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management, created to react face the commercial sexual exploitation of children and teenagers in this tourist city.

This marching showed the union of the tourism industry against this crime, with a single voice:

No more commercial sexual exploitation of children and teenagers in Cartagena de Indias!
