Last november, two professors of the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Katia Roman and Yina Julio, visited the school Fernando De La Vega with the purpose of promoting all Unicolombo's academic offer.
The coordinator of the Unicolombo's library and two English teachers from Colombo, were also present to make the students aware about the importance of learning English.
After watching the institutional video, the students received the brochure of the careers in which they were interested. Then, some of the students participated in a knowledge contest answering some questions about the Independence of Cartagena. The prizes for these students were some English student's books, to promote the learning of this second language.
The students were very enthusiastic and shared with Unicolombo and Colombo team all the doubts about the academic programs, and the different type of financing their dream career.
The students had a positive behavior and enjoyed the activities proposed in the frame of this visit. It is important to say that they can become the future professional profiles that Cartagena needs to become a better tourist destination and a better city: bilingual professionals with social responsibility.
Unicolombo becomes the best option for many youngs and adults' bilingual project of life. One reason to continue visiting educational institutions like Fernando De La Vega School.
An unforgettable experience!
