ProColombia Lecture: Promotion of Colombia and trends in Tourism
Sarey Orozco started her lecture talking about the main functions of Procolombia: Promotion of the country in three different aspects:
1. Exports.
2. Investment.
3. Tourism.
4. Country brand.
Sarey also announced that Procolombia was working on a new campaing. She showed two promotional video about Colombia: one about Holiday Tourism and another about MICE Tourism.
Tourism is the third economic activity in our country because of the foreing exchange earnings that this sector generates. The new trends in international tourism, depends on a market segmentation related to behaviors, demographic factors, etc.
