Seminar in Panama about International Tourism Development
A new international encounter took place in Panama, last may 2018. In this opportunity, the group was conformed by 45 students, who where leaded by the coordinator of the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Yasmira Mercado and the professor Maritza Gómez.
Umecit was the host university, where the students from Unicolombo had the oportunity to share with the panamian students. They talked about tourism activities in each country and they all received the conferences about accessible tourism development and emerging tourism destination.
The students from Unicolombo discovered the history of the city, its main attractions such as Causeway, Amador and the Miraflores locks in Panama Canal. They also visited the Biomuseo, the old city and the coastal belts.
The future administrators in Tourism and Hospitality explored the differences about service between Cartagena and Panama City, and they also enjoyed the similar cultural aspects of this two cities.
