International Seminar:
The power of young people in Colombia Tourism Development: Peace, Culture and Innovation.

The last may 30th, students of bachelor in Tourism and Hospitality Management attended the first seminar organized by this academic program. Among 400 participants, the Rector of Unicolombo, Dr. Mario Ramos, the Academic Vice Rector, Dr Álvaro Morales, the General Dean, Brenda Martínez, the coordinators of other bachelors, some tourism sector leaders, students and professors were present.
The seminar developed two lectures:
1. The first one, was given by Alejandro Ambrad, strategic consultant, who talked about the importance of strategic innovation in business.
2. The second one, was given by Amber M. Henry a Ph D student from the United States, who is here in Colombia in order to research about Afro-descendant communities. She talked about the importance of being motivated to achieve our young people dreams, and she asked 5 students to read a letter written by themselves about how they imagine Cartagena de Indias in the future.
