Cotelco Joven: Bucaramanga Congress
My travel to Bucaramanga was a beautiful experience. Firstly, it allowed me to deal more with some classmates, whom I did not use to relate with too much.
The purpose of this travel, was the II Congress for Young Leaders in Tourism organized by Cotelco Joven and that took place from 3th to 4th may, 2018.
The main thematic of this congress was: The rol of the young people in the construction of Tourism in a digital age, which was developped with the following topics:
* Tourism and peace.
*The gastronomy as a peace pusher.
* Tourism Innovation.
* Tourism influencers.
I learned many new things during this event, here we discussed several important issues of the tourism sector and the challenges that we have as young people in this sector to keep growing it. I also learned things about the city of Bucaramanga and its nearby municipalities.
This was a very nice experience. In addition to learned everything I said before, we could appreciate how beautiful are the landscapes in Bucaramanga, the city of the parks.
This type of activities should be done more often since for us as tourism students, its very important to know the activities and problems that develop around the tourism, also we have the opportunity to know new cities and enrich our knowledge.
Finally this activity I can write it off as the best I did in the university, thanks to it besides having learned so many things It also gave me two new friends.
