area and the famous Port River dolphins are well-known
for following the boats. Dolphins can often be seen in
shallow protected waters and the Port River Dolphin Trail
identifies ideal viewing opportunities for those with their own
transport. Kayaking is another way to explore the rich marine
environment, the abandoned wrecks of the ships’ graveyard and
the vast number of mangrove-lined tidal creeks.
