Completed Caravan How is the Tour route put together? With the idea of ensuring a certain balance and, if possible, to maintain suspense to the end. To achieve this, we have to create what could be described as ‘catch-up sessions’. This stage is a typical one in that mould, as it provides those leaders who lost ground the day before with an opportunity to get back into the contest. Much can certainly be expected from the combination of the Port de Lers, Mur de Péguère and Prat d’Albis, which overlooks Foix. Overall, the riders will accumulate 4 700m of vertical gain on the eve of the second rest day. It’s ideal for attackers. TIMETABLE To ride FOR ATTACKERS KILOMETRES
