Place – Red fort

It is the place where the emperor of Mughal dynasty was lived nearly 200 years.It was constructed by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. The red fort is made up of red sandstones.This fort was the seat of the Mughal empire for around 200 years, until it fell into British hands.The Red Fort complex, which consists of Shah Jahan’s palace and the adjacent Salimgarh fort built in 1546 AD, is managed by the Archeological Survey of India. Lahore gate is the main entrance point of red fort. This wall is assuming that a 2 km long which looks awesome in red stones.

Place – Purana Quila

Purana Quila is one the oldest fort in Delhi. The Purana Quila was built by Humayun in an attempt to build a city of his own. The interesting fact about Purana Quila is that the quila ia carried out two timws. One in 1954-1955 by ASI(Archaeological Survey of India) and again in 1969-1973 by BB Lal. The three gates are double storied and built with red sandstone. The Humayun Darwaza and the Bara Darwaza were the two gates that were open for entry inside the old fort. Entry was prohibited through the Talaqi Darwaza as the name suggests.Talaqi means ‘forbidden'.
