IN THE EVENT THAT YOU NEED HELP …
We hope that you will have a brilliant , problem-free run at the 2023 Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon , but just in case something does go wrong , here ’ s where to get medical attention if you need it during the race .
Sometimes things don ’ t quite go to plan in a running event , and you need some medical care , or a bit of expert help to get the legs moving in the right direction again . A team of medical doctors and first aiders will be stationed along the route and at the finish to look after runners in the event of an emergency , and there will also be physio stations if you need a cramp massaged . These medical volunteers will be positioned at clearly marked locations along the route , as per the lists below .
Need a quick rub down during the race ? Wintergreen Arnica oil and Magnesium lotion will be used by all of the physiotherapists along the route to provide you with the necessary support to smash your PB and conquer the race .
Half Marathon Medical Stations
