PARKING at UCT and near the start is very limited , so runners are urged to share lifts to the race , and get dropped off within walking distance of the start . If parking , you will only be able to park at UCT if you have a pre-paid parking ticket , which will be placed in your race pack . Dedicated race day parking areas have been organized at several schools near the start – see page 52 for a map and more info . Please note that no parking is allowed on the M3 , and anyone parking in contravention of road signs will be ticketed .
There is a free race day Shuttle Service between the finish venue at UCT and the various parking areas . More info is available on page 52 , and we urge all runners and spectators to carefully check the parking maps before race day .
PACE SETTERS A number of your fellow runners will be kitted out as pace setters and will carry flags advising of the time they will be aiming to complet the race . Please join in a group that suits your pace .

RACE NUMBERS The two race numbers that you collect at the Expo must be worn at all times , and without alteration , on the front and back of your running vest , T-shirt or crop top . Race numbers may not be attached to your running shorts .
Licenced athletes do not need to wear their provincial / ASA licence numbers , as special TTOM race numbers will be issued , but if you are running with a hydration pack , please pin your back number to the hydration pack , so that it is visible at all times . Unlicensed runners must run in plain colours , with no advertising on their vest or T-shirts .
RACE NUMBER COLLECTION AND RULES In terms of our approved event framework and in compliance with COVID risk management protocols , you are required to collect your race number in person for TTOM 2022 . Race number collection will take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre 2 ( CTICC 2 ) during the Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon Expo on these dates :
• Wednesday 13 April : 9am to 7pm
• Thursday 14 April : 9am to 7pm
• Friday 15 April : 9am to 5pm
For a hassle-free process , please bring the following with you :
• Confirmation of your entry via email or SMS .
• Proof of identification , e . g . ID , passport or driver ’ s licence .

Please note that prams , strollers or pets are not permitted in either the Half or Ultra Marathon . |

PRIZEGIVING |
||||
There will be as short , televised prize giving ceremony for the top three men and women for both the Half Marathon and Ultra Marathon races . These will take place near the finish at the following times :
• Half Marathon : 9:30 AM
• Ultra Marathon : 11:00 AM
