32 years later Frank (Frankie) Meadows is still there and the club even stronger.
Crosby Stuart JFC Formed in the early seventies. Based in Waterloo,Crosby a leafy suburb of Liverpool. There is a bit of a dispute the exact year, but everyone agrees early it was sometime in the early seventies! Franks first involvement was when his brother asked him to get involved running the u8 boys team in 1986. The committee recognising Franks enthusiasm then started to offer him different roles at the club such as press Secretary, registration officer before finding his eureka in the form of football development officer.
The growth of the club during the 90s was rapid. Monday to Friday he went travelling round the schools running coaching session in and out of school time, while most Saturday and Sundays taking teams of various ages. 2000 saw Crosby Stuart start their first girls team which became huge and at one time outnumbered the boys program.
