SPDSA provides soccer for both male and female players aged 5 right through to adult. Catering for recreational and elite players in the province of Alberta, Canada.

Despite the climate soccer goes on all year round by way of outdoor and indoor seasons. In the desire to help both players and coaches in that region a Strive for Excellence week is held where some very experienced and highly regarded International coaches are invited to work with the players and club coaches. This is followed up by a coaching clinic where coaches from all over the region attend and observe the coaches in action.

This year I joined Canada's all time leading goalscorer Alex Bunbury, Colin Miller the former Canadian men's national team manager and ex Glasgow Rangers player and Jim McLoughlin, Alberta's Director of coach Development was there to deliver a power point presentation on how Canada are looking to improve the development of coaches It was a fantastic week and I look forward to returning next year.

Our first Tosh Farrell Soccer, soccer camp was blessed with a week of brilliant weather and brilliant kids. Surprisingly the numbers of girls and boys attending was almost 50-50 which shows just how popular girls football is and how rapid it is growing. Another great aspect of the camp was being staffed by coaches who have come through Kendal Town Youth team. great experience for them and brilliant for continuity in delivering the weeks program. Feedback from players, parents aunts, uncles and grandparents could not have been better and we're already looking forward to the next time!

Thanks for a great week my two boys have not stopped talking about it.
