With convention time coming upon us once again, do you stress about media projects that haven’ t been finished? Is that painting for your school art class taking up more of your time because it’ s worth a grade?
Why not combine the two?
Throughout much of my high school experience, there have been times where I realized I could make a school project classically themed to turn in for convention points. Even my Latin class project, a diagram of an Amphitheater, could be turned in at Nationals. Ever since I discovered this, it allowed me to incorporate the classics into my life as I found different ways to add it into my school projects. In my graphic design class, there were multiple examples where I could take advantage of the projects at hand and turn them into classically incorporated works. From an Apollo based sign to a Varsity Latin T-shirt, don ' t let school projects stop you from indulging in the classics!
