What are you most excited to do as an officer?
I am so excited to be the new WJCL treasurer. I am most excited to work the bazaar and to be able to choose what Wisconsin, as a chapter, will sell at Nats. (I am hoping to sell some new items.)
What new initiatives do you plan to pursue?
One new initiative I plan to pursue is an online bazaar for the whole WJCL. This includes schools who would want to sell their stuff and those who would buy other schools' merchandise. I am also hoping to host a t-shirt making contest and sell the top five entries at Nats.
Do you have any advice for future candidates?
My advice for future candidates is try to put yourself out there. It is really important to have trust both ways between the voter and the candidate. And make sure you are straightforward with your audience and ask schools what they would want or change.
What three things would you take to a desert island besides food and water?
Three things I would bring to a deserted island would be a lighter, a pocket knife, and a filter straw. I would bring these because I would not know how long I would be on the island, and I would have to survive for a long time.
Skittles or M&Ms?
I am a Skittles person because I think each color of Skittles tastes different, while M&Ms all taste the same.
