Putting together this issue. I had the honor of learning more about my livestock. Everyday rain, snow, or shine, I bring water and hay to my sheep without actually knowing their history. In this issue, I was able to explore my sheep’s heritage, and I have learned to appreciate them even more than I already do. So the next time it is ten below zero, and I am carrying their water jug over my icy driveway I will think about all the different things that sheep have done for the world. Beyond that, I had the pleasure to read publications from all over the country, and I was massively impressed with the caliber of publication that are out there. With the different color schemes and original articles, I am happy to report that literary scene in the JCL is alive and filled with real news!

I can’t wait to see everyone in Alabama
