During the first week of October, the National Junior Classical League Executive Board gathered in-person in Bloomington, Indiana for the annual Fall Planning Meeting.
All members arrived in Indiana on October 2. The next morning, the NJCL committee members and officers toured the Indiana University campus, visiting various possible locations to be used for the 2026 NJCL Convention. The group then engaged in the first board meeting, which began with a discussion of the 2025 NJCL Convention held at Miami University. The majority of the meeting was dedicated to reviewing the schedule for the 2026 NJCL Convention.
On the following day, the board continued its series of meetings. After introductions and meeting protocols, Executive Director Mr. Sherwin Little gave a report about supporting the NJCL and communication between board members. NJCL Parliamentarian Kai Benton and Constitution Advisor Mr. Brian Compton gave updates and changes on amendments. Then, a discussion about Convention Domi delegates unfolded. New initiatives were also discussed in detail.
