"Salvete omnes!
The TSJCL convened for the 2026 State Convention at Sandra Day O’Connor High School in San Antonio on April 17-18. Over 1,000 delegates truly took our convention theme, chosen by 2025-2026 TSJCL President Luke Nettune, to heart: non nobis solum nati sumus or 'we are not born for ourselves alone.'
Our state convention was a diverse concoction of intense certamen matches, outspoken officer election speeches, and lighthearted laughter in the auditorium during the talent show. Not only was an unfathomable amount of talent displayed, but with it, a strong sense of community.
Thank you so much to all the dedicated people who made this convention possible, and thank you so much to each TSJCLer for bringing the JCLiving, JCLaughing, and JCLoving during our time together (despite being sleep deprived and powered merely on caffeine).
Cura ut valeas."

"These past few months have been a whirlwind of activity for the new Executive Board of the WJCL. The WJCL officially swore in its new Executive Board on March 1, 2026. With this new leadership came great opportunities and activities that allowed for a laughter-filled and eventful National Classics Week. We are looking forward to finalizing plans for nationals and are excited for what core memories and experiences nationals will bring for us this year!"

"This year so far has been an utterly exciting one for the Virginia JCL. The VJCL board has been hard at work, initiating exciting new proposals such as a new Forum Art Contest, a new Sister School System, a new March Membership Month, a new Statewide Photo of the Month Contest, a new spirit proposal called Manus Auxilii, a spirit Google Classroom, and has been publishing the Forum. Beyond all the new initiatives, Virginia has also kept up some long held traditions, such as our open Spring Council Meeting, open to all members of the JCL. Virginia currently is busy planning and preparing for the national Latin convention and is very excited to attend!"
