Salvete amores!

I hope everyone enjoyed the snow and are looking forward to their state conventions or national convention!

Since our last chat I have been focusing my energy on creating the guide to nationals and other NJCL Convention materials, a brand new video series outlining NJCL events (see page 28), continuing the Epistulae program, revising the NJCL fundraising guide, and working with the development committee. In addition, I have gotten to chat with fellow presidents, board members, and JCLers at meetings and Classicalia!

I had the most fun getting to see all of our JCLove during our instagram challenge, and am excited to see more soon during National Classics Week! I also can’t wait to share all my other projects with y’all in the near future.

Si vales, valeo!

2025-2026 NJCL President

Salvete amici!

I absolutely cannot believe that we're more than halfway to Nationals 2026. This year is rushing by, but I am so excited to see you all there!! Over the past few months, I've been focused on planning Classicalia with Sophia, your second vice president. It was so great to see everyone there; I hope you all had as much fun and learned as much as I did! Since then, I've mostly been working on National Classics Week, getting out the theme voting forms and starting on the packet with Sophia. It should all be on the website sometime soon at https://www.njcl.org/Activities/National-Classics-Week, so be sure to check it out! Also, the promotional video contest's Nationals Promotion category is due on March 15, so get your submissions in now at https://bit.ly/NJCLPromoVid2526!

Curate ut valeatis, and again, so excited to see you all at nationals!

Stella Anderson

2025-2026 NJCL First Vice President
