but in the meantime, we have been dedicating our time to helping others in our state
community. In January, the southern region partnered with the Student Alliance for
Immigrants and Refugees to serve those in the Cincinnati Area who have emigrated from
their home country to the United States. Ohio delegates spent the morning at St. Leo’s Church organizing and assisting the Student Alliance with their work. January and February also featured a Certamen competition and a digital doughnut fundraiser in partnership with Krispy Kreme.

of the year. In December, we hosted a very fun virtual Saturnalia game night, where we played a variety of online games, such as a Saturnalia-themed Kahoot.
second year hosting an in-person Certamen event, we hope to have greater numbers in
attendance this year! We are also still in the midst of planning for either watching the musical Hadestown or visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In terms of service events, we also plan to have a 6-week-long clothing drive and a virtual homemade cat and dog toy making session. The toys we make will be donated to animal shelters.
