Salvete, omnes! I hope that there is bright and sunny weather in whatever part of the world you are reading this! These past few months have been so amazing for me as an officer! National Classics Week ran from April 18 to April 24. When the packet was released, Raees and I were so excited to see everyone’s reaction to it and to watch everyone celebrate. We (the officers) also announced a celebration known as Classicalia that was hosted on April 30. JCLers were invited to join the NJCL officers for games and conversations to celebrate the conclusion at the National Classics Week. I had such a good time seeing you all there! Registration for NJCL National Convention is open, meaning that the event is quickly approaching. In light of this, I have been planning the spirit and service details for the online format of the event, and they are detailed on this document. It will be updated as more information regarding spirit and service is released. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions at any time by emailing [email protected]!

Howdy, amici! I can’t believe that this year has gone by so fast. It feels like just yesterday that I was announced as the National CoCo at my desk, and yet, in only a few short weeks, a new CoCo will take over my position after being elected...also at their desk. That being said, I’m ecstatic for everyone to see what we have in store for you this year at virtual nationals. We’ve had a great time at our previous virtual events, so we plan to keep the enthusiasm for JCL going. Connecting with JCLers as a national officer this year in ways that have never happened before – through our various JCLive episodes, Classicalia, and other virtual state conventions and forums – has been a blast. I want to give a big thank-you to all of the amazing webmasters who submitted to this year’s website contest. I know firsthand that it has not been an easy task designing websites this year, but you guys blew me away with your incredibly talented submissions. Everyone who completed the first-time submissions form before April 1 AND completed the sponsor signature form has already had their website judged. I cannot wait to announce the results at convention! I hope to see as many of you there as possible!

E corde,

Nolan Heinrich
