Salvete amici! The WJCL has been rocking 2021 in the now decently-weathered Wisco! Our amazing board of officers led a stunning National Classics Week with four main events. We began with a Monday Meme Contest (we love the alliteration!) followed by a WJCL Bingo. On Wednesday, our unbeatable 2nd VP Livi Patel baked a wonderful cake for Rome’s MMDCCLXXIV [2774th] birthday and encouraged others to do so as well. On Thursday, our WJCL Tech Co Vishrut Agrawal and I created a WJCL Officer Buzzfeed Quiz (shoutout to all the states who did this for their conventions!). In addition to National Classics Week, our 2nd VP Livi Patel has also been having monthly service projects for the WJCL. For April, the project was “Spring Clean Up Day", and now we are working towards a used book drive. Our Torch: WI will be coming out at the end of the month, so look forward to it. You won’t regret it! Anyways, after a sudden snow two weeks ago, Wisco is finally heating up, so the WJCL is looking forward to having fun in the sun and at home for virtual national convention!
