Rajay Naik

Rajay Naik is CEO (UK) for PlattForm, a world leader in edtech, which partners with universities
around the world to launch online degree programmes, recruit students and enhance student
outcomes. Since it was founded more than 25 years ago, PlattForm has worked with 4000
universities using its proprietary technology. Prior to joining the company, Rajay was Director
of Government & External Affairs at the Open University, the largest university in the UK with
over 264,000 students; a world leader in flexible learning achieving over 65m downloads on
iTunesU and the owner of FutureLearn; a catalyst of social mobility (20% of newest students
from the 25% most disadvantaged communities) and a driver of economic growth (80% of
FTSE 100 companies sponsor staff on OU courses).
A graduate of Warwick University, Rajay holds a number of board level positions including The
British Council Education Advisory Board; UKTI ASEAN board and Coventry City Football Club.
He was Chairman of UK Programmes at the Big Lottery Fund from 2009-2015; Commissioner at
the UK Department of Health (2009-2015) and Council Member of the National Careers Council
at the Department of Business, Innovation & Skills from 2012-2015.
Rohit Nanda

Rohit Nanda is COO at Asset Match, the online marketplace to buy and sell shares in UK
private companies. Rohit has over 14 years experience in the Financial Services sector having
worked at GE Capital, Nomura, and UBS. He has a broad range of business expertise, notably
e-commerce, websites, electronic platforms, technology and fixed income. Rohit has a detailed
understanding of client ‘on-boarding’ practices to Platforms and has successfully implemented
and improved a number of key business processes.
Rohit holds an MBA from Cass Business School, is PRINCE 2 qualified, and studied Mechanical
Engineering at Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine. Prior to joining Asset Match
he started his own consultancy business in early 2012 and has completed a term contract with
a major name in the Retail sector, instigating and developing e-commerce projects to improve
their online offering.
Rahul Parekh
Co-Founder & CEO - EatFirst
Rahul Parekh is the Co-Founder & CEO at EatFirst, which brings fresh and healthy meals to The
City, Canary Wharf, East London, East Central, West Central and SE1 within just 15 minutes,
which he co-founded in 2014 with Humberto Ayres Pereira, who is based in the company’s
Berlin office. Following an M.A in Economics from Cambridge University, he started his career
at Goldman Sachs as an Executive Director in Securitised derivatives trading prior to setting
up EatFirst.
