Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech 2015 Rekha Mehr Director of Partnerships - MassChallenge UK Rekha Mehr is Director of Partnerships at MassChallenge UK. MassChallenge is the largestever startup accelerator and competition, and the first to support high-impact, early-stage entrepreneurs with no strings attached. Rekha has been in the UK’s startup eco-system for the last three years, working in start-up businesses as well as advising them. In 2013 she was appointed as the first Startup Entrepreneur in Residence for the Department of Business, Innovation & Skills, informing policy and helping to shape the business support landscape. Before taking up the MassChallenge role in 2014, she was the owner of Pistachio Rose Baking Boutique until December 2013, offering luxury Indian-inspired sweets and desserts and went on to set up her business consultancy Moonrekha in October 2013. Prior to this, Rekha was a Buying Manager for Amazon.co.uk and formerly Waitrose. Dharmash Mistry Co-Founder & CEO - Blow Dharmash Mistry is a Co-founder and CEO of Blow - a one-stop fast beauty destination. He was previously Partner at venture firm Balderton Capital from 2008 to 2012. He has 15 years of extensive experience launching, developing and acquiring businesses in the media, retail and consumer goods sectors. He spent eight years at Emap International, where he held a range of executive roles, including Managing Director of Emap Performance and he launched EMAP Digital’s 4Music offering. Before that he was the Managing Director of Bauer Consumer Media, hired to reform the United Kingdom consumer facing magazine group. He began his career in marketing for Proctor & Gamble and served as a Brand Manager, followed by a stint at The Boston Consulting Group from 1997 - 2000. He has been a Director of British Broadcasting Corporation since 2014 and a Non-Executive Director of Hargreaves Lansdown Plc since 2011. He serves on the OFCOM Advisory Committee for England. He holds an M.Eng and a B.A. in Engineering, Economics, and Management from Oxford University and has previously served on the boards of several companies including Dixons Retail PLC and Lovefilm among others.
