Manish Madhvani

Manish Madhvani is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of GP Bullhound, an international
technology investment banking group with offices in London, San Francisco, Stockholm, Berlin
and Manchester. Since 1997 he has executed M&A and capital raising transactions involving
some of the best known global internet, software and media companies including: Spotify,
King.com, The Telegraph, WPP, Concentrix, Fjord, eCommera, Handbag, Hearst Corporation,
Accenture, Newscorp and Experian. Manish who was selected as one of the top 40 dealmakers
globally by M&A Advisor, started his career at Barclays Capital’s Private Equity team. He has
advised the Treasury on Entrepreneurship and, graduated from Southampton University with
an LLB in Law and an MA in Marketing. Manish is currently Chairman of the Investor Allstars
and Media Momentum judging panels and is a regular speaker at conferences including Digital
Hollywood, The Global Ecommerce Summit, TiE, Internet World, Red Herring, BVCA and EVCA.

Aketa Mahajan is currently Head of Venture Capital Unit at UK Trade & Investment (UKTI),
responsible for bringing investments from Venture Capital firms, Sovereign Wealth Funds,
Family Offices and Ultra High Net Worth individuals to fund British companies. She previously
lead on a range of government priorities for the Cabinet office. After graduating from King’s
College London with a First Class Honours degree in Business Management, she joined
Accenture’s Management Consulting program; followed by stints at Deutsche Bank and the
Home Office. She is also the Co-Founder of Young Asian Social Enterprise (YASE), a unique social
enterprise scheme that strives to empower young people, particularly from Britain’s ethnic
