Another classic from Fender’s 50’s tweed

sensitivity. Key to much of this unique
character set is the elegant 5E3 circuitry,
which is a feat of simplicity and functional
design that has yet to be rivaled in the
guitar amp world. Catalinbread brings this

Tweed Deluxes are so well loved in part
because they get mighty nasty at volumes
that are pretty friendly compared to many
big rock amps, but with the Formula 5
one can top it by getting these tones at a
whisper, and through just about any clean
rig, or even direct into a cabinet simulator.
Like the amp that inspired it, the Forumula
5 is a superb foundation for studio or live
work, and it pairs nicely with fuzz and
boost pedals.
