EVENTIDE MIXINGLINK
Eventide is as renowned for its brilliant line of stompboxes as it is for its classic pro audio
effects processors, so it is only right that the company would eventually design a product
engineered to bring pro audio and stompboxes together. Eventide’s MixingLink is basically
a pristine, high-gain mic preamp integrated with an effects loop, and housed in a compact
stompbox enclosure. It features 48-volt phantom power, a footswitch that can function in
either momentary or latch mode, inputs for mics, instruments, or line-level sources, and
dedicated outs for headphones, amplifiers, and DI/line. It also has level controls for input
gain and headphone/amp. The MixingLink is a superb tool for studio or live applications,
as it can function as a mic pre, reamp box, DI, effects pedal interface, signal splitter, or
any number of other things. Its size and layout make it a natural fit for players that want
an interface they can easily mount on a pedalboard with the rest of their stompers.
